Turned Chair Chair 1

With an aim to use as little components to create this three legged chair. Using locally sourced Olive Ash.

The original square is kept at specific joining points along the sections of timber, rather than turning them into round - doing so retains a flat surfaces and planes to work from - aiding manufacture of the piece.

Designed and made on the Prince’s Foundation ‘CREATE: Rethinking Wood for Furniture’ 2023.
